Air Fryer Tuna Melt
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread (your choice)
- 1 can of tuna (drained)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices of tomato (optional)
- 2 slices of cheese (like cheddar, Swiss, or American)
- Butter (for spreading on bread)
Instructions:
- Make the tuna mix:
In a bowl, mix the drained tuna with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined. - Put the sandwich together:
Take one slice of bread and add a spoonful of the tuna mix on top. Spread it out evenly. Add tomato slices if you’re using them, then place a slice of cheese on top. Cover with the second slice of bread. - Get it ready for air frying:
Spread butter on the outsides of both bread slices. - Air fry:
Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (188°C) if your model needs preheating. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Flip halfway through for even cooking. - Serve:
Remove from air fryer, slice if desired, and enjoy your crispy, melty tuna sandwich!

- Use different cheeses for new flavors.
- Don’t overload the sandwich or it may get soggy.
- You can add pickles or onions to the filling for extra crunch.
