Air Fryer Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwich
Ingredients (makes 1–2 sandwiches)
- 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 2–3 slices ham
- 2 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon butter (softened)
- Optional: mustard or mayonnaise
Instructions
- Prepare the sandwich
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Optional: spread a thin layer of mustard or mayo on the other side.
- Place ham and cheese between the bread slices, buttered side facing out.
- Preheat the air fryer
- Set the air fryer to 180°C / 350°F for 3 minutes.
- Cook the sandwich
- Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden and cheese melts.
- Serve
- Let it cool for 1–2 minutes.
- Slice and enjoy warm.

- Use softened butter for easy spreading.
- Don’t overfill the sandwich or cheese may leak.
